On the occasion of Occupational Hazards at apexart in NYC, I was delighted to be able to give extensive tours of the exhibition to groups from the Museum of Arts and Design, the Bard Graduate Center, the Princeton Library, the board of directors of ArteEast, and this group of artists and interpreters in the images who were in New York for the U.S. Department of State’s International Visitor Leadership Program’s (IVLP) regional project for Afghanistan.
Every group was quite amazing in their own way but the last group was outstanding in their interest in individual artworks, in the project overall, and in their eagerness to share their own thoughts and experiences relating to the concept of the exhibition.
